Hearing God As A Worshipper

Don’t you have those kinds of friends and relatives who tell you amazing stories of their vision with the Lord Jesus or the dreams they had walking with Jesus or people who hear God’s voice and can see God in literary everything they walk in? Even the ones who see God in odd things, colors, incidences and they hear God speaking to them. 


You could be like me, I haven’t heard God’s audible voice or see him in a vision or trance, I try and read things and I usually fail and suck at those things. It is then asking the question is how do we hear God’s voice or train my ear to hear God’s voice because we always told God is always speaking we just not listening enough. How many have tried to listen and you heard nothing.

Have you tried to sit in silence and be in a season fasting and just say God speak to me and by the time you stand you will be disheartened because nothing happens by your mind kept running in circles and you did get anything? At times when you listen to others talk about hearing God and it sounds so simple but you don’t get it worse of if you are a worshipper you would be struggling with it the more.



I have been realizing one thing about hearing God comes down to first of all coming to his same wavelength it's like tuning to a radio frequency and the one thing that can help you tune to the frequency of God as a worshipper, worship leader and musician is the word of God.



When we understand the word of God we recognize being guided by it more and more each day and in the process of this happening the word becomes living, Jesus said in John 6:33 "the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life”, When the word is alive in us his we will start to see God word speak to us more and more Proverbs 6:22 it says “wen thou steepest it shall watch over thee; And when you are awake it shall talk with thee”. His word becomes alive in us and it talks with us when we choose to spend time with it.



It’s important that as worshipper we get to hear God speak and not just hear but also to obey his word. Let us allow God to speak more and more to us.
