                “But Jesus answered, "I assure you that the Son can do nothing alone. He does only what he sees his Father doing. The Son does the same things that the Father does”. John 5:19   Jesus declared these words to prove a point to the Jews of his place and his ministry and was trying to show them the source of his life. Jesus meant that all He did was exactly what he SAW literally seeing. How did Jesus see what the father was doing? Jesus spent time with the father alone in his presence. Do you?  Jesus chased after God, Jesus even though he was God sought after the Father. He would serve people the whole day and then pray all night as long as he could carry. Think about it… The question would be why the presence of God? He already receives perfect angelic worship, the earth, creation gives him worship why does he still ask me to worship when he is already having way better worship than my sinful life?  God asks us to dwell in his Presenc

David always made mention and desired to be in the presence of the Lord but then come to think of it. Why the presence of the Lord, why do I have to take time to chase after the presence of the Lord? We have been taught how to worship and we have been taught how to praise regardless of how and when, we worship because we love to but at the same time there is the presence of God that very few people have been taught about and know about. Pst Bonnie Deuschle calls the Great Connection that is entering his courts with praise and entering his gates with thanksgiving. In church we know how to get into the presence of God and as soon as we enter into his goodness we stop so that the Pastor can preach the message. The glory of the Lord is what we live for, to bring him glory. In old English they would say glory is to ascribe or give back the honour and splendor to him who deserves it. Glory in Hebrew and Greek speaks of splendor, light, rarity, honour beauty and abundance. God is already full of glory (honour, power, majesty, rarity) and there is nothing we can do to change it. He already receives perfect worship from all angels and heavenly beings. We can not change that and we can’t subtract from that, He remains God but glorifying God is the essence of our lives. “ For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour ”, Psalms 8:5 KJV This glory within us that has been crowned upon man is what causes people like Jay Z to call themselves Jehovah.
