Worship! The Heart Issue

It is in the brokenness of Life that we get to meet God, the meeting ground for God is a broken, dry, thirsty, contrite hearts of people.

Look at every man of God in the Bible who made a long lasting impact, they were just living their lives in a state of awe, reverence, respect and brokenness and that is why God met with them. Everyone who worship, desires to meet up with God to see him face to face. Looking at David the sinner, womanizer and killer but God accorded him to be a man after his own heart. It was because he was broken inside and this is what He wrote.

"Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean, wash me and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me... The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise". Psalms 51.

Just like a rose or an alabaster flask God desires that we live a life of brokenness and being thirsty for him. What makes God move, is not what you do but the heart behind the worship.

"For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:" Isaiah 44:3

Dying to self, being dried up for God, thirsty for God, trampled, being contrite and the right spirit is the place were God descends upon. You want God to meet with you, learn to walk in the place were He is calling you to. A life of separation and a field which is fallow in which he could plant the seeds of himself.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour." John 12:24-26.

God made worship to be a place were we could meet with him, the more you meet with God the more you become like him because God plants seeds of holiness and his character in you and in turn you become more and more like Him. That is why God wants us to worship him and behold him, I'ts all because He love us more that we think He does.

"Worship Him in the Beauty of His Holiness"

What Worship Is All About

Worship is the central part of God and heaven but is the most misunderstood part of human life. Someone once wrote if it’s a pattern of heaven then we should emulate it in our lives but when we look around creation in worshipping but man is walking with worship of self or desire to worship God but do not know why. www.cyberbrethren.com Worship isn’t just an idea, a person, or a thing it is a lifestyle that God has called us to leave.
