So many times we look to the external things that will distract our worship. So many times we look at the external factors, like band, my voice isn’t plus I have a cold and most of the time we blame it on the sound guys, things went that bad because we couldn’t hear ourselves onstage, no air conditioning was off and we were cold. So many times we look for someone to blame for the things that go wrong in our lives even in our worship. What are some of the things that hold us back from worshipping that stem from within our own lives?   1.       Guilt: So many times we are full of guilt that is just so ripe in our lives and we carry that guilt into the presence of God. That causes our attention to shift from God and we start worrying and thinking of ourselves and we lose sight of the God we worship. Either that or we feel so inadequate of everything and not worthy to stand in that place just like Isaiah said, “Woe I am a man of unclean lips” ...

Crying T here are a various number of Hebrew words which have been translated into crying and the two of them are “Shava” /”Shawa” and   “Qara” “Shava”, “Shawa” and it means to properly to be free ; outburst for freedom from some trouble “Qara” (appeal to God) properly address by name, Crying in the bible was a sign of to name loudly and publicly for giving notice Especially a cry for help, from pain or distress or anguish. Worship has evolved with time to mean a lot of things to a lot of different people. When you look in the bible you will realize that worship to them was the centre of their lives. Have you ever asked yourself what worship means to you, have you ever taken time to think about it and have you ever answered that’s question before? God is moved to show up in your life when you worship Him with everything and when He is the object of your worship. You can make any request once you are in his presence. Can’t we worship the Lord in a place where we say that God I know I am sick, I am penniless, I’m broken but I just want to bring my thanksgiving to you In spite of my situation I seek only you. Some will fight me on this but I believe that worship shouldn’t be about us but the centre of our worship should be God and we should take ourselves out of the equation and make sure that we glorify God for who He is and what He is worth. So the big question was why do I have to do it, they say raise your hand and bow down but I don’t think that matter you know. God is looking at my heart and he is not worried about what I do. So I thought of it and just searched about this presumption and this is what I found out.  The worship is not in the bowing but the worship is in the condition of the heart that the whole story here. God sees your worship in the attitude of bowing. In my culture bowing Is a sing to show respect to the elders, when you enter a courtroom you are supposed to bow and address the judge as your worship think about that, Asians bow as a sign of respect and they say the depth of your respect is seen in how low you bow. Universal cultures and traditions show us that when you bow you are showing respect and reverence of the person you are meeting or respect to the seat they occupy and then we come to Christ and we say that our worship is not in the bowing.  Hebrews are very expressive...

Arm Twist Worship and Worshipping for a breakthrough or worshipping without string attached out of love, no obligations. God knows all our desire before we even ask for them in prayer, even in fasting and I always says that it is better to come before the Lord and worship Him out of the abundance of your heart and not hold back. Arm Twist worship as I call it, is when we worship the Lord because we need deliverance, I worship the Lord big time when I need something to from Him. Those that live in an attitude of worship don’t even need to ask all they do is lift their hands, mouths and hearts and just declare the Lord and before they are done whatever they desired in their hearts that Lord would have fulfilled.
