Obedience according to the Sage Dictionary is the act of obeying, dutiful or submissive with respect to someone else. It is a characteristic that we have to learn on our own, someone said God is always talking what He is looking for is just a willing life to listen and do. “And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD?   In the army the frontline is where the battle is always raging and hot, In World War 1 & 2 they were battle areas where for days there was constant fighting and always planning how to advance against his enemy’s frontline. Being a part of the worship is like being in front line always fighting. One of my friends said that I can judge the depth of a church by the presentation and quality of their frontline ministry. A worship team, choir, musicians, dancers, banners, painters and mimes are all part of the frontline ministry. Mostly people rarely get to see your tongue but they can clearly see your teeth because they are in the front, just what a worship team is like. The glory of the Lord is what we live for, to bring him glory. In old English they would say glory is to ascribe or give back the honour and splendor to him who deserves it. Glory in Hebrew and Greek speaks of splendor, light, rarity, honour beauty and abundance. God is already full of glory (honour, power, majesty, rarity) and there is nothing we can do to change it. He already receives perfect worship from all angels and heavenly beings. The centre of human life is the heart and this same heart is the same source of our worship. The heart is the heart of human existence. An unclean source of water gives out unclean water and its the same with our hearts.  Think about it, why does God keep pressing that we live our lives for Him.  Worship is the best place for us to know him and create a relationship with him through the Holy Spirit.  God wants us to experience his presence always and sin inhibits us from the place. Sin and iniquity are sent to attack the source of our worship, the heart, to taint it and destroy everything in the  path. Worship is lifting up the name of God in all splendor with everything we have in life, it’s not just a song you sing, worship is a lifestyle and daily experience not a 2hour Sunday recreation of taking off stress. Worship is what we were created to do, Isaiah 43:21 states “ This people have I formed for myself; they shall declare my praise ” When I talk of fellowship I am not talking of meeting with the brethren once or twice a week to have coffee, tea, biscuits, and a song plus discussing a chapter of the bible. When I talk of communion I am talking of taking the Lord’s Supper and the elements not am talking about the frequency we should take it. The bible sometimes uses these interchangeably because they basically speak of the same lifestyle. I am talking of a lifestyle of living and knowing God in an intimate way.
