Worship Aint Just Singing Part2
Worship Is Not Just Singing. Part 2
In the last post we began to expand and bringing to an understanding to a myth we have encountered “Worship is singing”. Today we are going to finish the last part of that of that article and explain that worship is not just singing but it is our daily lifestyle of bringing God glory.
Hebrews 13:15 states “By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name”. It shows us that worship can be seen in the fruit of our lips, our works on their own should bring glory to God. This can be seen in 2 Chronicles 9:3-9 were the Queen of Sheba gave glory to God when she saw the works that King Solomon
She gave God glory to God in response to what she saw in Israel, what can man see in our lives, character, lifestyle, things we own that they can bless God, just as the fruit of our lips should glorify God, the fruit of our work the fruit of our lives and the fruit of our families should bring God glory always.
Psalms 103:1-2 speaks “Bless /Praise/ Worship the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me bless/praise/worship his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits”. Is shows that worship goes beyond just singing its comes it about giving God our all everything to put our spirits, souls and body into lifting God up higher. Looking at this verse we realized that worship involves our spirits, souls and bodies
Worship is about ascribing, giving, acknowledging with glory, power, honour, reverence, respect to God Almighty. So for us to say worship is just singing that’s lifestyle that we have chosen not to live in. worship is First and foremost exaltation singing is a part of our worship to God. Our lives are meant to worship God coming from the bottom of our hearts, worship is not just singing but blessing god with everything we have
