Worship and Spiritual Warfare Part 2

In Part 1 of this series Worship and Spiritual Warfare we dealt with the power of worship and its effect in spiritual.  Warfare is effected when God unleashes his power upon us as we worship him in earnestness and with a heart to lift him up, that he falls upon a church, gathering, crusade, team or a cell meeting, wherever God is called He comes and dwells.

“When I am lifted up I will draw man unto me” and I inhabit the praises of my people. We know that when you lift up God what happens is that he draws us into his power and anointing then darkness falls away.
“But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia…. Then said he, knowest thou for what cause I come to thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come. But I will show thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince. Daniel 10:13-21. When we worship God let us pray that we might understand what will be happening in the spiritual realms.

Reading the story of Daniel cited above we learn that Daniel went on a fast and would pray three times a day  with his windows open towards the temple and 21 days later an Angel shows up and talks to him. The angel confirmed that the Day that Daniel set his heart to bless and seek God, he was sent by God to work and deliver to Daniel his answer and it was in the process of delivering that the Angel had to fight happened. For the Angel to be released from the fight he received help from an ArchangelMichaeland as soon as he delivered his message he was going back to fight against the same principality.

When we choose to seek and pursue after God, we release angelic work on our behalf who are doing God’s bidding, bringing the will of God earthwards and it is in this place that God fights for our lives from the hand of the enemy

“And the children of Israel said to Samuel, Cease not to cry to the LORD our God for us that he will save us from the hand of the Philistines. And Samuel took a sucking lamb, and offered it for a burnt-offering wholly to the LORD: and Samuel cried to the LORD for Israel; and the LORD heard him. And as Samuel was offering the burnt-offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel: but the LORD thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and discomfited them; and they were smitten before Israel. And the men of Israel went out of Mizpeh, and pursued the Philistines, and smote them, until they came under Beth-car”. (1Sa 7:8-11)

Here we see God unleashing his power and strength upon the children of Israel because he Samuel offered a burnt offering to God, when you read carefully God did not ask that Samuel offer it but he offered it. How many times in your life do you wait to worship God when things are bad? You only worship and praise God when you are feeling down using God as a feel Good pill.

When you worship, God releases not just the angelic but his power and holiness upon your life. When these are unleashed and released, everything dark and evil is discomfited and routed just as we are worshipping God. God fights for us, God fights for his will to be done and we need to learn to worship Him in the manner that releases God power, holiness and glory into our lives.

God’s angelic was released for Daniel, God’s power was released for Israel and Samuel when faced with the Philistines. What can God do for you, what warfare does God do on your behalf and you don’t even knew of it or think of it but He still does bless us and we are so ignorant of his work.

Worship releases spiritual warfare lets us be aware of what God is doing, pray that God opens your eyes to see and understand what happens in these realms.
