Reason Why We Worship





People never think of this Why was I created? We don’t know and we do not care to understand why. The bible tells us the reasons why we were created and how we were created by God.

Genesis tells us that we “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion”. Gen 1:28 but in the bible do we not find any other purpose than worship which is a command from God wished it had been made part of the 10 Commandments.

“The people which I formed (to form, fashioned, framed) for myself, that they might set forth (to count, recount, relate, show forth, declare, herald) my praise”, Isaiah 43:21. We were created to praise the Lord, God fashioned and made mankind to worship not because He is self seeking, self conceited or egotistic God who has a low self esteem.

Think of it then and ask yourself why does God require our worship?

When Lucifer was cast down from heaven he was the chief worship leader in heaven, one of the Archangels of God. Heaven is full of worship, God has thousands upon thousands upon thousand or what the bible calls myriads of angels which offer 24hr worship to God. The 24 elders and the angels of his presence offer him worship and never stop singing Holy Holy Holy Lord God almighty.

Psalms 102:18 “This shall be written for the generation to come; And a people which shall be created shall praise Jehovah”. God calls us to worship him not as a suggestion but as a command. That is the reason we were made Psalms says that God made man so that they may worship Him.



The question is still why we were created to worship God, why were we formed to worship the Lord.

Isaiah 43:7 “Every one that is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory, whom I have formed, yea, whom I have made”. We understand we were created to worship the reason why we were created to worship is because God wants to commune with mankind, God wants to spend time with his children and created. He is not self conceited but he wants mankind to experience him.

Our fasting, our giving, tithes, prayer allow us to connect with God but they are not the best platform to commune with God, of which worship gives us 100% percent connection without network problems so long we offer it in right way. Worship was made to connect with God and his presence, God created us to commune with Him and be like Him and experience Him, his glory and his beauty.

Worship is a priviledge and gift to all mankind it allows us total connection with God and heaven. We were created, formed, fashioned to commune with God in worship. Worship is a platform that God and man meet and commune. So the people that I have formed shall declare my praise. That is why we were created to worship.

Worship Him in the Beauty of His Holiness

Characteristics Of A Worshipper

Being a child of God and being called a Christian qualifies a person to be a worshipper, whether you have a sweet voice or a horsey voice, whether you can dance or you have CRD (Caucasian Rhythm Disorder) in God’s books you qualify as a worshipper. The name of a person reveals their character and the quality of worship reveals the character of a worshipper .
